As a result, Mercedes’ flagship sports car is ready to handle your winter commute in style. Of course, you’ll have to contend with a $138,450 starting price point for the SL 55.
The Dodge Challenger GT AWD is a grippy, sporty car for winter driving
The Dodge Challenger GT AWD might not be as refined and luxurious as the other sporty winter cars on this list, but it deserves its spot. First, the Challenger is the only American muscle coupe on the market with optional AWD for wintertime commuting. Also, with a starting price of $35,440, the GT is a much more affordable option for enthusiasts who want a sporty car to drive in the winter than a Jaguar F-Type AWD Coupe or an Audi TT RS.
Unfortunately, though, none of Dodge’s V8 options marry up to AWD. Instead, fans will have to make do with a 3.6L Pentastar V6. Still, with retro looks and power to all four tires, the GT AWD is an excellent option for winter commuting.
