Dolly Parton’s custom tour bus, named the Dolly Suite 1986 Tour Bus Experience, is at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The resort is close to the gateway to The Great Smoky Mountains. In the heavily personalized Prevost bus, Dolly traveled around 360,000 miles from late 2008 through March 2022.

The iconic singer didn’t want to fly, so the custom tour bus was her home while on the road. Dolly has homes and properties, including Dollywood, in Tennessee and around the country. Our mention of “Tennessee mountain home” is also a nod to Dolly’s song and album, My Tennessee Mountain Home, released in 1973. However, the custom Prevost tour bus was her favorite home:

• A tiled floor
• A lounge area, awash with warm earth tones, has a comfortable sofa, pillows, a TV, and a semi-circular bench with a table. 
• The walls of the lounge section of the bus have “hand-painted murals of vines and people traveling,” as detailed by Motor1.
• Illuminated recess areas display such things as shoes, jewelry, and a brightly decorated guitar.
• A cabinet, which was originally for Dolly’s wigs, now has a collection of hats.
• A quaint kitchen area with a microwave 
• Lavish upgrades, including a bathtub
• Instead of the typical two stacks of bunk beds, the custom Prevost bus has one, with the additional space used for a large closet.

Capping off the tour bus is Dolly’s opulent purple bed, located at the back. Above the bed is a heavily decorated ceiling with a matching purple color. Also, by one of the walls near the bed, there’s a decorated vanity table and mirror. The bedroom also has a TV, so you can watch one of Dolly’s movies, such as 9 to 5 or Steel Magnolias, while you relax on her bed before you drift off to sleep.

The Dolly Suite 1986 Tour Bus Experience at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort in Tennessee is for a minimum two-night stay. The bus can sleep up to two guests. Also, the Dolly Suite 1986 package includes a guest room at the resort with accommodations for up to four additional people and a view of Dolly’s tour bus. Plus, the stay has a VIP dining experience, as well as special gifts.

The Dolly Suite 1986 Tour Bus Experience is not cheap, though. A two-night stay costs $10,000. However, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Dollywood Foundation. The foundation does various philanthropic work, but its primary focus is improving the lives of children through education initiatives, including a children’s book gifting program.
