Moreover, the GR86 is a sibling coupe with the Subaru BRZ, meaning the vehicles share the same engine, transmissions, and similar styling. Are Mustangs have stick-shift transmissions?

Fortunately for fans of pony cars, the 2023 Ford Mustang still packs a manual transmission. Moreover, the upcoming seventh-generation S650 Mustangs will also pack a manual, albeit not in the EcoBoost trims. 

Unfortunately for fans of the Mustang, the Getrag MT82 six-speed transmission carries over to the next generation of Mustang GTs, and those units are prone to premature wear and even failure. However, potential owners who want a more reliable, track-ready transmission can grab the keys to a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach 1, which packs a Tremec-sourced stick shift. 

Does the Hellcat come in a stick shift?

The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will pack a six-speed stick shift transmission for its last model year before the marque discontinues it. That’s good news for fans who want to roast tires in a widebody Mopar with over 700 horsepower before the EV age pulls the plug.
