According to Consumer Reports, there’s a lot to like about the 2021 Subaru Forester. So much so that this year’s Forester was one of three Subaru models included in Consumer Reports’ list of the ‘10 Best SUVs You Can Buy Right Now.’ This year’s model not only earned an 89 overall score from Consumer Reports, but it also earned four out of five predicted reliability and owner satisfaction rating.

High marks aren’t the only reason that this year’s Forester deserves your attention, either. Boasting a base price of $24,795, the 2021 Subaru Forester isn’t prohibitively expensive. It also comes standard with all-wheel drive, EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, Apple CarPlay, and Android. The IIHS recognized this year’s model as a Top Safety Pick+ too.

Following closely behind the Forester is the 2021 Subaru Outback

If the 2021 Subaru Forester doesn’t quite do it for you, Consumer Reports also included in the 2021 Subaru Outback in its list of the ‘10 Best SUVs You Can Buy Right Now.’ Consumer Reports gave the 2021 Subaru Outback an 86 overall score, which is impressive. It also gave this year’s Outback a four out of five predicted owner satisfaction rating. Unfortunately, this year’s Outback earned a fairly average reliability rating.

Much like the Subaru Forester, high scores aren’t the only reason you should consider this year’s Outback. With a base price of $26,795, this year’s Outback offers no shortage of features. If you’re in the market for a more lavishly outfitted SUV, consider the Outback Touring XT, which adds features such as leather-trimmed upholstery, ventilated front seats, a DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System, and a 180-degree front-view monitor.

Choose the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek if you want the best compact SUV

Say you’re in the market for an SUV that isn’t quite as big as the Subaru Outback or this year’s new Forester. If that’s the case, consider the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, which Consumer Reports also included its list of the ‘10 Best SUVs You Can Buy Right Now.’ Having earned an 84 overall score from Consumer Reports, there’s really no denying that the Subaru Crosstrek has plenty going for it. It did well in road tests, is reliable, and according to Consumer Reports, this year’s model earned a four out of five predicted owner satisfaction rating.

Consumer Reports added, “All Crosstrek models deliver impressive ride comfort along with competent and enjoyable handling on curvy roads. The infotainment system is also easy to use.” With a base price of $22,245, this year’s new Crosstrek won’t have you breaking the bank either.
