bolt
The Chevrolet Bolt is a part of the automaker’s EV collection and has stood on its own as the sole EV in the line for a few years. It is a cost-effective EV that is best suited for city life and not long distant driving. Even though the model has been an excellent option for those looking to enter the EV market without dropping an extreme amount of money, people are beginning to steer away from the EV due to a massive recall initiated in 2021.
It slowly turned into a recall for every EV on the market. Many owners are demanding buybacks of the vehicles that have now become a fire hazard. It is reported that General Motors could lose $1.8 billion due to the recall. The automaker is placing the blame on the battery maker LG. It is to the point where GM is canceling the model, at least for now. No one knows the current future of the model. Only time will tell.
