grand wagoneer
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a full-size luxury SUV model produced and sold by the Jeep division of Stellantis (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA)). The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is currently the largest and most expensive model offered by Jeep and is priced as sized above the new Jeep Wagoneer.
The Grand Wagoneer nameplate first appeared on the Jeep Wagoneer model, which Kaiser Motors first produced in 1963. The model was later produced by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) and then the Chrysler Corporation. During its production under AMC, one of the trim levels of the Wagoneer was dubbed the Grand Wagoneer. Eventually, this build became so popular that the Grand Wagoneer became the only model manufactured.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer model was discontinued after the 1991 model year, but its nameplate was used on trim levels and special editions on the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee models. Now, the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer nameplates have been revived by Jeep as premium luxury SUV models. Its likely competitors include the Cadillac Escalade, the Lincoln Navigator, and the Mercedes-Benz GLS.
