GT
Many automakers have their own GT lines, such as Ford, Porche, Audi, Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz, and more. GT stands for Gran Turismo, or some refer to it as Grand Touring. These models typically have a large engine, luxurious interior, comfortable rides, and an elegant exterior design. It has to have the feel of a luxury car, but the driving dynamics of a sports car when the opportunity arises.
The first GT was the 1930 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Turismo. Now many manufacturers are taking on the GT name and trying to conquer the cross between sporty and luxury with cars you can comfortably take cross-country. Automakers like Hyundai have added a GT to the Elantra.
There are also affordable options, such as a cheap low-mileage Ford and even a classic baby corvette, the Opel. These models have become very popular with individuals who want a sports car and want the comforts of a luxury car. It can be great for individuals or families.
