hot rod
A hot rod can be a fun hobby to create and drive. These vehicles are explicitly modified to give it more power and speed. Some of the most outrageous hot rod cars include Gregg Hamilton’s AWD 1971 Pontiac Trans Am, a 1969 Porsche 912 with the insides of a Telsa, and Sweden’s Meteor Interceptor. These are extreme examples, with the Trans Am even built using junkyard parts.
There are also numerous events for these cars to attend throughout the fall and summer. However, are hot rods a good investment? There are many aspects to think about, such as appreciation and depreciation, and whether or not it would be a good hobby for you. Then you have to think of what kind you would want. One example is the rat rod. While hot rods are put together for speed, handling, and looks, rat rods, the handling and looks are not much of a priority. Nonetheless, these types of vehicles are fun to admire or build.
