Huracan
The Lamborghini Huracán is a luxury supercar model produced and sold by the Italian luxury sports car and SUV automaker Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. The Huracán is one of only three Lamborghini models currently in production. Its companions include the Lamborghini Aventador exotic supercar known for its scissor/swan doors and the Lamborghini Urus midsize luxury crossover SUV.
The Lamborghini Huracán (Spanish for “hurricane”) was first revealed online in 2013 before making a worldwide debut at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show. Available as a coupe or convertible, the Huracán came with a baseline of 610 horsepower, four-wheel drive, and was pitched as a successor to the recently discontinued Lamborghini Gallardo model.
The Lamborghini Huracán is still in its first generation but received a facelift for its 2019 model year. Some of its special editions and variants include the Huracán EVO GT Celebration and the Huracán LP Pope Francis donated to the pope, signed by the Pontiff, and auctioned off. Competitors of the Huracán supercar include the Aston Martin lineup, the Ferrari 488, the McLaren 720S, and the Porsche 911.
