kawasaki
Kawasaki began in 1966 with its first headquarters in an old meat warehouse in Chicago. They fought to get distribution for their bikes in the United States, a two-stroke bike sold under the name Omega. This model did not do well, so Kawasaki responded with the Samurai and Avenger with a rotary valve twin. In 1968 the company released the Mach III 500cc two-stroke triple, which put the company on the map as performance motorcycles. By 1973 with the release of the four-cylinder 900cc Z1, the manufacturer became a powerful source within the motorcycle world.
Today, the company remains a successful producer of quality sports bikes, touring bikes, ATVs, jet skis, and side-by-sides. It has spread its wings and conquered many different avenues to optimize its production. These products are great options for those that enjoy speed, performance, and quality both on- and off-road. The company gives a little something for everyone at any age, with off-road vehicles for young children and more for adults.
