Mach-E
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is an electric performance compact SUV model produced and sold by the Ford Motor Company. The Mustang Mach-E is the first EV in Ford’s push toward electrification, with the Ford F-150 Lighting electric pickup truck on its way as a second entry.
Named after the iconic Ford Mustang pony car of muscle, the Ford Mustang Mach-E was first introduced in 2019 and went on sale in 2020 for the 2021 model year. As the first modern EV from Ford, the Mustang Mach-E is available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options as well as a Standard Range and Extended Range trim level.
During its short lifespan, the Ford Mustang Mach-E has already swept up plenty of awards for its role as an SUV, an EV, and an electric SUV. As relatively new to the EV market, the Mustang Mach-E faces off against the Audi e-tron, the Chevy Bolt EUV, the Hyundai Kona Electric, the Kia Niro EV, and the Tesla Model Y.
