Typically big trucks aren’t friends with deer. The Tesla Cybertruck isn’t an exception as more stories about obliterating wildlife on the road emerge. However, horses and deer don’t need to be hit by it to nearly die. They’re simply terrified by just seeing it. 

The Tesla Cybertruck nearly scares horses and deer to death 

Something about the Tesla Cybertruck is startling deer, horses, and gazelles at an intense rate. There are reports of deer bouncing off the truck and dying. The trucks don’t seem to have much damage but it seems strange for drivers to be proud of that. 

But something is making the deer become startled and to the point of acting strangely. One owner took his Cybertruck to the San Antonio Safari Zoo to see how animals would react. 

Giraffes, buffaloes, and mainly gazelles ran away in fear while being attracted to a Jeep Wrangler. The loud engine on the Jeep may help the animals recognize that it’s a vehicle while the Cybertruck is silent. Also, the reflective steel panels could be confusing. 

Another Cybertruck owner accidentally startled his neighbor’s horse. The truck was about 40 feet away when the Sentry Mode triggered the lights to come on. Then the driver floored it, doing a full send.

This made the horse panic, and the elderly rider was bucked off. She hit the ground and broke eight ribs. She was airlifted to the hospital. 

Some people blame the driver for flooring it in their Telsa Cybertruck and others blame the owner of the horse for taking it near an object it wasn’t familiar with. Either way, someone was hurt and animals are getting stressed out more than usual. 

There are also reports of dogs being frightened around Tesla vehicles. The high-pitched whine of the battery system could be providing an irritating frequency. But Elon Musk and his devotion to Doge probably want to keep that under wraps. 

If a deer is on the road, try to make it understand that you’re getting closer to it by honking the horn and flashing your lights. Be careful passing Amish horse-drawn buggies on the road. Also, please drive slowly and safely past horses.
