Furthermore, it is tied with the 2012 Ford Flex for the second oldest model featured. However, the Flex isn’t really an SUV in terms of looks and capabilities. 

As for the oldest car on the list, the 2010 Toyota Highlander takes the cake. However, the 2012 Traverse can match the 2010 Highlander tit-for-tat in terms of seating, comfortability, and engine capabilities. For a well-researched list conducted by Kelly Blue Book, there is no denying the 2012 Traverse is among one of the best affordable SUV options.
