The 2019 Subaru Forester Still Has Some Tricks Up Its Sleeve
The 2019 Subaru Forester is no longer the newest, most exciting option on the market. It’s just old enough to drop to bargain-basement prices but new enough to have all of the fun, new features, and looks we want from a car. But, if you still need some convincing, there are a few surprises that the 2019 Subaru Forester has to keep us coming back for more.
The redesign year
The 2019 model was the redesign year for the Subaru Forester, opening up the fifth generation for the well-loved SUV. While you could splurge and buy the latest 2021 model, or even the 2020, there really aren’t that many differences from the 2019 model because they are within the same generation. That means you can buy one slightly used without having to pay new-car pricing, and no one would know any different.
Even more cargo space
The benefit of picking an SUV over most passenger cars is the additional cargo capacity, and with the updated Forester, you can fit even more junk in the trunk. Of course, the back seats also fold down so you can fit even more Christmas presents than ever before. The racks on top aren’t just cosmetic, either, you can use them to bring along any additional cargo that you can’t fit in the trunk.
Some special features
You probably don’t notice it upon first glance, but mounted on either side of the rearview mirror are two cameras. These make up a system that the brand calls Subaru Eyesight, a driver-assist technology that comes standard in all of the 2019 Subaru Forester models. It enhances all of the safety features you want from a modern car, like adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking.
The 2019 Subaru Forester really packs a punch for the price, and for an almost-new vehicle that you can buy for a bargain price, it really does have a lot to offer. From modern styles to standard safety features, the Forester packs more than a few surprises to make it worth your time.
