What To Expect For The 2021 Chevy Colorado 

In the past, the Chevy Colorado has been a little ignored as a cheap truck. You could buy it for less than the cost of a Ranger and enjoy it for a little while. 

We say only for a little while because the Chevy Colorado has the reputation of breaking down and being unreliable. 

However, Chevy has been working to change that perception of this mid-size truck, and reviews have gotten more positive over the past few years. 

Now the 2021 Chevy Colorado may completely erase its adverse history with an all-new look and more powerful features. 

2021 Chevy Colorado Power And Features 

The new off-roading version will sport a lower grill that has Chevrolet written across the front. Also, the grille fades down into the front bumper. Chevrolet will also be stamped on the tailgate. 

You’ll be able to spot the new ZR2 with its brand new red tow hooks that emerge from the bumper and 2.0” lift. 

This lift comes with new 17” wheels to give it a dominant stance. Plus, the Colorado will have three new colors to choose from. No matter what option you select, this truck will turn heads. 

The new Colorado will also have a 3” wider track, Multi dynamic dampers, and front and rear electronically locking differentials. We also know that various skid plate options will protect the underbody. 

However, we don’t know what type of truck power to expect. Chevy is still keeping this information under wraps. 

But if the current powertrains carry over, we can expect to see the 2.8 inline-four turbo diesel engine with 164 horsepower, the 2.5-liter inline-four engine with 200 horsepower, and 3.6-liter V6 engine with 308 horsepower. 

The 2021 Chevy Colorado made its debut earlier in 2019 in Nevada to participate in the Method Race Wheels Laughlin Desert Classic race. That’s why we know it can handle the sand like a total boss. 

The price for the 2021 Chevy Colorado hasn’t been announced yet. We can expect to see this model go on sale in late-spring 2020. However, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak may cause a few production delays.
