You can get started in the base model Dodge Durango SXT with rear-wheel drive for $33,290. This is a $930 increase over the 2020 model. Also, if you want the Dodge Durango SXT with all-wheel drive, then it will cost you $35,860. That’s a pretty expensive upgrade just for AWD instead of true 4×4 capability.
The Dodge Durango SRT AWD, which is the highest trim option, starts around $64,490 and doesn’t go up in price. Also, if you would like for your three-row SUV to accelerate from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds, you can go with the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat AWD for $82,490.
What’s new for the 2021 Dodge Durango?
The 2021 Dodge Durango received a slight makeover with visual cues for a more confident or aggressive look. It seems wider, like the Dodge Charger, which is exciting if you want a fast and sporty SUV.
More improvements to the Durango’s look include LED headlights, running lights, grille, good, and a rear hatch spoiler. Three new grille textures are available as well that incorporate larger openings for enhanced cooling.
If you want to tow, the Dodge Durango can tow up to 8,400 lb. This is the best in class towing. However, the V6 engine maxes out at 6,200 lb. The Tow N Go package adds SRT wheels, Brembo brakes, and additional driving modes that include sport, track, snow, and tow.
Under the Dodge Durango hood, you will find a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that pumps out 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This is a substantial amount of power on a base model, and you can upgrade to various V8 options, including the Hellcat engine for 710 horsepower.
