Just to provide a little information about the 2021 Ford F-150, it will be available later this year, in the fall. The 2020 Ford F-150 became available around October 2019, so we assume Ford will stick with that timeline.
Also, the price for the new 2021 Ford F-150 hasn’t been released yet. But the 2020 model starts around $28k. This is cheaper than rivals, so we don’t expect the F-150 to go up in price much.

The Ram 1500 starts around $32k, so maybe the 2021 F-150 will start around $30k to continue its competitive pricing. However, we know that the F-150 has a lot of new features to enhance productivity.
Dedicated nap space
The 2021 Ford F-150 has a dedicated nap space. Have you ever been in the office and thought about skipping lunch for a nap in your truck instead? Well, the new F-150 can make that dream come true.
If you feel exhausted from chopping wood, building on a hot day, or just need a little break, climb in your truck. The Ford F-150 has seats that recline completely flat so that you can relax. The passenger seat can recline as well, allowing your copilot to take a break too.
You can work inside the cab, too, because the F-150 offers a dedicated laptop space near the center console. The built-in wi-fi will help you remain connected to make updates, even when you’re in an area with limited phone service.
The generator with so many outlets
The 2021 Ford F-150 has an onboard generator, and with the new hybrid powertrain, it can produce 72kW of output. It’s known as the Pro Power Onboard system with an inverter to power multiple devices.
You can charge your laptop, camper trailer, griddle, and more. With the four 120-Volt outlets in the truck bed, you can power multiple items. If the truck senses that the power is low, it will up the RPMs to provide the juice you need.
You can also use the generator overnight. While Ford trucks usually turn off after 30 minutes of idling, if it senses that you’re powering something, it will continue to run. However, it will shut off if it detects a short. Also, it can be controlled with your phone!
Multifunctional tailgate
Ford finally entered the multifunctional tailgate game with one that doubles as a workstation. It’s crafted with durable, quality materials to stand up to the task at worksites. There is a smooth surface for taking notes and an area for measuring and cutting.
The tailgate has integrated tools such as a ruler, a mobile device holder, a cup holder for your coffee, and an area for storing smaller items. Plus, there are cleats on both sides of the tailgate to tie long pieces down and clamp pockets to hold wood and other things.
