The 2021 Hyundai Elantra Won’t Hurt Your Wallet
Hyundai has finally revealed just how much the 2021 Hyundai Elantra will cost. And you know what? We’re pretty pleased. Even though it’s been redesigned for the new model year, and even though it comes stock full of standard features, the 2021 Hyundai Elantra still won’t hurt your wallet.
How much does the 2021 Hyundai Elantra cost?
The 2021 Hyundai Elantra is a bargain. With a base price of $19,650, you can get into this year’s redesigned model for less than $20,000. Pricing doesn’t change dramatically if you consider a higher trim level, either.
Step up from the base SE and into the Hyundai Elantra SEL, and that bargain base price jumps up to $20,900, which isn’t all that bad. And even at its most expensive, the 2021 Elantra Limited’s $25,450 price tag isn’t very intimidating.
Its pricing is right in line with its competitors too. While the 2021 Toyota Corolla is priced at $19,825, this year’s Honda Civic will have you spending $21,050. The redesigned Elantra is more expensive than the 2021 Kia Forte, however, which starts at $17,890.
Even the base 2021 Hyundai Elantra is loaded with features
You might think that because of its low price tag, the 2021 Hyundai Elantra doesn’t have a lot to offer in the way of features. Fortunately, that’s not true. At all. Standard on the base SE is an 8-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
The base Elantra doesn’t make any compromises when it comes to standard safety features, either. Even on the base model, standard safety features include forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, lane-follow assist, high beam assist, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, and safe exit warning.
This is how much the Hyundai Elantra N Line will cost you
This year’s Elantra lineup also includes the Hyundai Elantra N Line. Unlike your typical Elantra, the N Line comes equipped with a 201-hp 1.6-liter GDI turbocharged engine under its hood. It also adds 18-inch wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 and a multi-link rear suspension.
As for its price? Opt for an Elantra N Line with a 6-speed manual transmission, and you can expect to spend approximately $24,100. And if it’s the 7-Speed Dual Cluth Transmission with SHIFTRONIC that you’re after? Then you’ll be paying roughly $25,200.
If it’s a hybrid Hyundai Elantra that you’re after
The Elantra N Line isn’t the only new Elantra to have been added to this year’s lineup. A new hybrid version of the beloved Hyundai Elantra is also gracing this year’s lineup. And, according to the automaker, it will deliver an estimated 50 MPG combined fuel economy rating.
The Elantra Hybrid won’t break the bank either. Opt for the base Elantra SEL HEV, and you can expect to spend $23,550. For a top of the line Elantra Limited HEV, you’ll be paying $28,100.
The 2021 Hyundai Elantra is a bargain
No one wants to break the bank when buying a new car. That’s what makes the 2021 Hyundai Elantra such a great option. Not only does it cost less than $20,000, but it also offers all of the features that you need to enjoy your time spent behind the wheel.
