The sedan world is increasingly getting smaller. Most automakers have totally given up on sedans in favor of SUVs and trucks. While there aren’t many choices left, the Nissan Sentra still manages to stand out from the crowd.

It’s got all the features that consumers love in a sedan. It’s small, fast, and has plenty of cargo space. Consumers are also sure to fall in love with the interior of the Sentra SV.

The Nissan Sentra has come a long way

The Nissan Sentra has been through some much-needed changes, like an independent rear suspension. The 2.0-liter I-4 engine won’t be earning it any awards, but it’s decent enough at what it does. It might offer a bit of a firm ride, but it’s more than adequate for anyone looking to get from point A to point B.

Gas mileage is where the Sentra really shines. It gets an estimated 29 mpg city and 39 highway. In a world where SUVs and trucks are pushing out sedans, great gas mileage is how smaller vehicles remain relevant.

There are plenty of safety features, as well. The Sentra comes with the Safety Shield 360, which includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a rearview monitor, rear sonar system, rear automatic braking, intelligent engine brake, active ride control, and intelligent driver alertness.

If you’re looking for more features, than the SV trim is a great choice. It comes with even more features that are sure to please. 

The Nissan Sentra SV is top of the line

The SV trim adds more to the already improved Sentra. While the lower trim levels don’t offer dual-zone climate control, the SV trim does. 

The price is also very affordable. The SV trim is $21,395. If you add in the premium package, the price will bump up a little bit.

Nissan didn’t exactly go crazy adding in extra features on the SV trim, so when compared to competitors like the Toyota Corolla, the upgrades may not seem huge. There is some very desirable changes, however. 

For example, there is a moonroof, which is hard to come by at that price level. There is also a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, larger wheels, and a leather-wrapped shift knob.

To add to the appeal, there are some very desirable changes to the interior that look far too expensive to be on a Sentra.

The leather interior is gorgeous

Motor Trend was in love with the interior of the Nissan Sentra SV. While there were a lot of great features, what really stood out was the beautiful, quilted leather that is available with the premium package.

According to Motor Trend,

“We never expected to be this impressed by the cabin of a Sentra. Hop into a nicely optioned Sentra SV, though, and you’ll be greeted by one of the best compact sedan interiors on the market.”

Adding to the interior is the tech. The SV trim adds an 8.0-inch touchscreen, a 7.0-inch instrument cluster display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two extra USB ports (including one USB-C), and a six-speaker audio system.

To top it all off, the seats are incredibly comfortable. It might not be enough to beat out the competition, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction for Nissan.
