The 2021 Audi A4 allroad

Much like the 2021 Volvo V60, the 2021 Audi A4 allroad is designed to satisfy the automotive needs of many. Driven by a 261-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, Car and Driver reports that while it hasn’t had a chance to test drive this particular engine, model years of the past drive “like a dream, balancing ride and handling extremely well.”

The 2021 model added new standard features, including wireless Apple CarPlay, lane departure warning, and an integrated toll module. For the new model year, the Premium Plus trim also added standard features like adaptive cruise control with active lane assist, a top-view camera system, and a hands-on detection steering wheel.

How much do these high-end wagons cost?

Getting into a new V60 will run you about $40,950. Naturally, with multiple engines and trim levels to choose from, that price can climb pretty quickly. The 2021 Audi A4 allroad, on the other hand, boasts a base price of $44,600.

Though, if it’s a hybrid your after, the Volvo V60 will cost you. Unlike its gasoline-powered counterpart, the hybrid version of the Volvo V60 rings in at $67,300.

What makes the 2021 Volvo V60 the winner

There are a few reasons that the 2021 Volvo V60 comes out on top when compared to the 2021 Audi A4 allroad. The most glaring difference is that the V60 offers a long list of engines to choose from. Unfortunately, for the allroad, only one engine is available. 

The Volvo V60 also boasts a lower base price than the Audi A4 allroad. Unless, of course, you opt for the hybrid variant, which does cost considerably more than the allroad.

And if pricing and mechanics don’t quite matter to you? Consider that all models come standard with Volvo’s City Safety technology, which combines automatic braking functionality and collision avoidance systems to help keep you safe behind the wheel. City Safety is also the only safety system currently on the market that can detect pedestrians, cyclists, and large animals.
