The 2023 Toyota Tundra Reigns Supreme with Unmatched Resale Value
While resale value might not be the highest priority for all shoppers, it is worth considering before deciding on a new car, truck, or SUV. At the top of Kelley Blue Book’s 2023 Best Resale Value Awards, the 2023 Toyota Tundra held firm. Toyota had many options in the top 10, but the full-size 2023 Tundra pickup truck was ahead of the rest by more than seven percent.
The 2023 Toyota Tundra holds value better than any other vehicle
Kelley Blue Book rounds up all vehicles that offer the best resale value each year. The 2023 Toyota Tundra offered the best resale value for this year, coming in at 73.3% over five years. After five years, the average new vehicle retains about 45% of the original MSRP, but the cars on Kelley Blue Book’s list blow by that easily.
A vehicle costing $35,000 equals around $7,000 over five years of ownership. While resale value isn’t the most crucial factor in choosing a car, it certainly can help in the long run.
The Toyota Tundra isn’t a stranger to this award, known as one of the class-leading trucks for reliability and resale value. For this year, the base model of the Tundra still starts under $36,565 and comes pretty well-equipped.

Toyota and Lexus were Kelley Blue Book’s best resale value brands
