New year, new trucks! The 2025 Ford F-150 will most likely dominate as the most popular truck in America again. It’s primarily a carryover model, but it made some changes to nickel and dime drivers. See which features just got more expensive.

What’s new for the 2025 Ford F-150?

The F-150 just received a mid-cycle refresh for 2024, so there are no significant changes to note for the 2025 Ford F-150

However, a few changes may hurt your wallet. The 2025 F-150 eliminated the three-year subscription for BlueCruise.

This BlueCruise hands-free driving assist option now costs $495 per year. (But it was $800, so this is one example decreased pricing).

Instead of being available across the lineup, it is limited to properly equipped XLT, Lariat, and Tremor models. However, it’s standard for the King Ranch and Platinum trims.

For 2025, standard factory Navigation software is no longer standard with the XL and STX trims. It was standard across the entire lineup before.

Also, the F-150 XLT trim can only get the Connected Navigation software if they opt for the available Mid (302A) or High (303A) equipment groups. These add-ons include a one-year trial.

Some drivers are sad because the iconic factory-installed SecuriCode keypad was dropped. It’s available as a dealer-installed option for $455. It used to be standard for every trim except for the XL model.

Last but not least, the Heritage Edition model was dropped! The retro model with two-tone paint helped celebrate Ford’s 120th birthday and the F-Series’s 75th birthday.

The 2025 Ford F-150 starts with an MSRP of $38,610. The 2024 F-150 has an MSRP of $36,695. So, the F-150 has a year-over-year price increase of $1,915 before the destination fee comes into play.

With the $1,995 destination fee, the starting price is increased to $40,605. The F-150 Raptor increases the price to $80,800 with the destination fee included. Pricing for the Raptor R isn’t listed.

When will the 2025 Ford F-150 get too expensive? So far increasing prices hasn’t slowed its sales. Find the best deals with the MotorBiscuit car buying tool.
