Cadillac’s Escalade is an oldie but a goodie. The Escalade remains as one of the premier symbols of affluence. In a recent study, experts at U.S. News rounded up the best luxury models for tall people, and the 2020 Escalade topped the list. The Escalade provides the roomiest front row in the luxury SUV class.

Depending on the configuration you pick, the Escalade can seat up to eight people across its three rows. Overall, this Caddy offers supportive seating and plenty of amenities. Standard Escalades come with heated and ventilated front seats along with heated second-row seats. The Escalade is also equipped with fancy infotainment features, including a 16-speaker Bose system and a wifi hotspot.

While the Escalade offers a spacious front row, its third-row seat is below average for its class. For the most available space, you’ll want to consider the Escalade ESV version. As far as how the Escalade performs, the reviews are mixed. Some critics think the Escalade feels too sluggish at times, while others say that it’s just speedy enough.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC is a dynamic crossover that’s comfortable and engaging. This Benz gets its power from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 255-horsepower. The GLC’s standard engine is punchy enough, but you’ll want to upgrade to one of the Mercedes-AMG GLC variants for more power and speed.

The standard GLC model affords the most interior space, but there’s a coupe-inspired body style option that might appeal to you. What makes the GLC a standout in the competitive luxury crossover class is its quiet, upscale cabin and advanced technology. There’s no shortage of passenger space, and it features Mercedes’ intuitive MBUX infotainment system.

U.S. News has ranked the BMW X7 as one of its top luxury SUVs for two years in a row. This is pretty impressive since BMW first introduced the X7 for the 2019 model year. The X7 is a three-row SUV that can seat up to seven passengers. It also offers one of the most lavish car cabins in its class. Plus, the X7 presents three different engine options that all come standard with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive.

The X7 comes with a long list of handy items like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It also comes with a variety of infotainment features, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen display screen, smartphone integration, and navigation. U.S. News explicitly praises the X7 for its many safety features like forward-collision warning and rear-cross traffic alert.
