According to Edmunds, nearly half of the consumer reviews were five out of five stars. Reviews showed that the Silverado 1500 was bought by previous Silverado fans and Ford F-Series enthusiasts alike. They liked the gas mileage, power, and versatility of Silverado. 

A perfect reliability rating of five out of five was given to this truck by J.D. Power and that doesn’t happen very often. None of its competitors could match that.

The Silverado was fully redesigned in 2019 and even more changes were made in 2020. Chevy added a turbodiesel engine and the top 6.2-liter V8 engine was made available on the RST and Trail Boss models. The 10-speed automatic transmission could be added with the middle V8 engine.

The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is expected to be in the $28,000 to $60,000 price range. A 2016 model will cost from $17,707 to $35,597. Sure there are some features that the newest model has that the 2016 model doesn’t. Standard teen driver system, more cameras, and a better tow rating are just a few. But overall, the 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 is a solid choice for most truck fans, given what it has to offer and the substantial savings.
