The Chrysler Pacifica Went From Economical to Luxurious
The Chrysler Pacifica has been a minivan worth betting on for years. Literally, it’s been the TCC’s Best Mini Man To Buy since 2017. However, in 2021 along with more practical upgrades, you can get a brand-new luxurious Chrysler Pacifica with even more comfort, tech, and safety features.
The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica offers more luxury
If you still want a practical minivan, the Chrysler Pacifica Voyager maintains its economical price as the base level trim. It only has a $250 price increase over the 2020 Pacifica model and includes third-row seats that fold into the floor and a 7-inch touch screen that connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. But additional safety features such as automatic emergency braking raise the price.
According to TheCarConnection, each 2021 Chrysler Pacifica trim above the Voyager, and LX trims include standard safety features such as LED headlights, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warnings, blind-spot monitors, etc.
Standard features for convenience include a faster Uconnect 5 system with a 10.1-inch touch screen, power sliding doors, and seating for up to eight passengers. However, seating for seven is standard.
The base engine with the Chrysler Pacifica is a 3.6-liter V6 powerhouse that pumps out 287-hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. This is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that powers the front wheels. However, you can now opt for all-wheel drive or a plug-in hybrid powertrain with the higher Touring and Pinnacle trims.
2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid
The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid costs around $42,000 and offers a 32-mile electric range. With electric and gas power combined, you can efficiently achieve a 520-mile range before having to fill up the tank.
Seamlessly switch between two driving ranges, gas and electric, as needed to get the best range. You may also qualify for a one-time federal tax credit of up to $7,500 with the purchase of the Pacifica Hybrid.
The hybrid powertrain is available on each trim and offers more freedom with all-wheel drive capabilities. The AWD system automatically kicks in as needed to provide more control in slippery conditions.
The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle trim
If you want the most luxurious Chrysler Pacifica minivan, then check out the Pinnacle. It starts around $50,000, costs around $52,000 for the hybrid build, or around $54,000 for AWD. Build the Pacifica that you want.
The Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle comes with quilted Nappa Leather leather seats for each row, lumbar pillows for the second-row captain chairs, pops of wood trim, a gigantic tiered console, suede headliner, and more.
The leather seats are heated, along with the steering wheel. USB ports are found in the second row, and the optional home theater places 10.1-inch screens on the back of the front seats. This system also includes wireless headphones.
Check out the FamCAM, an interior camera system that allows you to keep an eye on your passengers. You can even see those in rear-facing child seats. Also, the Unconnect system is totally wireless. Connect to Apple CarPlay and charge your phone without the clutter of wires.
