The 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor was spotted in the wild, and it’s bringing everything that makes the Super Duty Tremor significant to the F-150. The Ford F-150 Tremor package might make you forget about the new Ford Raptor. 

The 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor was spotted 

Tim Esterdahl of PickupTruckTalk got a few spy shots of the new Ford F-150 Tremor in the wild. Despite being covered in camouflage, there are a few clues that can be spotted to give us an idea of what to expect. 

First of all, it’s easy to tell that this is a newer model with the Tremor package because you can see that it’s an updated Ford F-150 with the new grille and headlight design. The Ford F-150 just got a slight refresh for 2021. 

Then it has slight changes, denoting the addition of the Ford Tremor package. The Ford Raptor will probably have an updated grille and other features to set it apart. The Ford F-150 in the spy photos sits higher than the Ford F-150 thanks to the Tremor package’s suspension.

You can’t see much of the suspension aside from black shocks, and the frame underneath the sides stands out. It looks like the Ford F-150 is sitting on a 33-inch tire, which is exciting for off-roading. However, this truck doesn’t have beefy looking new tires or rims yet. 

Also, in the rear, you can spot a dual exhaust system for a sportier and more capable performance. However, the tailgate area is covered with camouflage, so we don’t know if it has a multi-functional tailgate or not. 

What comes with the Ford Super Duty Tremor package? 

With the 2020 Ford Super Duty Tremor package, you get various goodies, including 35-inch diameter Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires. With the light-duty version, it’s safe to expect a set of 18-inch matte finish black wheels. 

The package also has a two-inch frontend life with a shorter air dam and 10.8-inches of ground clearance to enhance capability for off-roading. The extra height provides the Super Duty Tremor with the best in class water fording depth of 33-inches. 

To ensure that the Super Duty Tremor is still a heavy hauling beast, the suspension got progressive rate springs to balance towing needs with enhanced control for off-roading. A rear stabilizer bar was added too. 

Custom 1.7-inch piston twin dampers, a locking rear differential electronic shock shift on the fly, and the limited-slip differential also improve control and capability. The Tremor has a winch too, so we hope that’s on the Ford F-150.

When will we learn more about the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor? 

The Ford F-150 Tremor will probably arrive by next summer. It’s unknown if the Ford F-150 Tremor package will have a diesel version like the Power Wagon or a winch on the front. However, it will have a price increase of a few thousand bucks. 

The Super Duty Tremor package is about a $6,000 addition. Plus, it incorporates more than the Ford FX4 off-roading package. To compete well against rivals, it will need to be able to tow more, which shouldn’t be a problem as the Ford F-150 currently has best in class towing.
