The Hyundai Santa Fe Got A New Face and More
The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe got a brand new face, and that’s not all. The Hyundai Santa Fe is working to compete against the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and other rivals. Check out what to expect as the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe challenges the champions.
The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Looks Good
The Hyundai Palisade has done well competing against the Kia Telluride, and now it’s little brother, the Santa Fe received a refresh to take on two-row SUVs. It looks pretty good. The grille is wider than before to display a new confident look. Also, there will be different grille patterns based on different trim levels.
The new-look also includes T-shaped daytime running lights that work well with the thin horizontal headlights to accentuate the SUV’s width. The Hyundai Santa Fe will also come with new 20″ tires and more massive wheel arches.
The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Interior
Be prepared for luxury as the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe got a brand new interior to incorporate class with capability. The now more comprehensive interior is covered with plush, soft-touch materials. The significant driver and passenger seats combined with the tall center console create the feeling of sitting in an armchair.
Also, by replacing the gear shifter with four buttons on the dash, the Hyundai Santa Fe now has small storage compartments for a variety of items. Best of all, the two-tone design gives the interior a fresh and modern look.

The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe received some major tech updates too. The dash was redesigned to look similar to the Hyundai Palisade. Drivers will now face a 12.3″ digital cluster display behind the wheel. Plus, the infotainment center has grown to a 10.3″ LCD touchscreen that includes navigation.
2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Power
The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe hasn’t released its powertrains yet, but we’re expecting ample power. There are whispers this SUV getting the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that offers 185 horsepower. We might see the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that providers 235 horsepower as well.
The aspect of 235 horsepower is pretty exciting since the Toyota RAV4 maxes out at 203 horsepower. Also, the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe will need to be able to tow at least 3,500 lb to match competitors.
In terms of capability, the Hyundai Santa Fe has made off-roading enhancements. It will have all-wheel drive available. Models equipped with AWD will have multi-terrain driving modes, including sand, snow, and mud, to adjust to changing conditions.
A full suite of standard safety features is expected to be included with the new Hyundai Santa Fe. Rear-cross traffic alerts, lane-departure warning, distracted driver warning, parking assistance, adaptive cruise control, and more are a few of the safety features you can count on.
The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe is also expected to be available with hybrid power trains, but it’s unclear if those models will make it to the U.S. Unfortunately, we will have to wait to learn more. The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to arrive later this year, in the fall.
