The 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat
Yeehaw, the Dodge Durango is one of the many Chrysler, Ram, Jeep, Fiat, etc., vehicles that are getting the beloved Hellcat. The 2021 Dodge Durango SRT will have 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque.
Not only is that a ton of power, but once you add all-wheel-drive, the Dodge Durango will also be extremely capable. This massive, 3 row SUV will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

According to the National Hot Rod Association’s certified calculations, the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT will also be able to go a mile in 11.5 seconds. It will also carry an aero-limited top speed of 180 mph.
To give those numbers some substance, the Mustang Mach E is predicted to go from 0 to 60 mph in only 3 seconds. Meaning this big SUV can keep up with sports cars. The 2021 Dodge Durango will also be able to tow up to 8,700 lb.
2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Features
The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat received updates inside and out along with its powerful upgrade. For example, the suspension now has an adaptive Bilstein setup at all four corners. The brakes have been upgraded to massive six-piston Brembo calipers in the front, with big stoppers in the rear that are only slightly smaller.
Because the Dodge Durango is larger than the Grand Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk, it has a more prominent spoiler that provides 140 lb of downforce at 180 mph. We don’t hate its more aggressive look either.
The Hellcat Durango also has a unique 260-millimeter crossover X-pipe for its exhaust system. This setup will help the Hellcat have a meaner yowl and will help to equalize the exhaust pressure coming from each of the cylinder banks.
Get your 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat before it’s gone
However, Dodge is playing pretty fast and loose with the Dodge Durango Hellcat, because of changing emission standards that will take place in 2022. Don’t worry. The Dodge Durango SRT is the only option that will no longer meet emission standards. You can still get the Hellcat Jeep in 2022.
Dodge expects to produce about 2,000 models over six months before the 2021 Dodge Durango Hellcat goes away. That doesn’t mean that new Dodge Durango SRT hellcat models won’t come out later once it can meet emission standards.
Also, prepare your wallet! While the 2020 Dodge Durango base model starts around $30k, the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat will start around $77k. That is a lot of money for an SUV that’s louder and accelerates a few seconds faster.
Currently, the Dodge Durango GT takes about 7.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 in 7.6 seconds. Is the ability to reach 60 mph 4.1 seconds faster worth paying an extra $47k? That question is up to you.
