The New Mazda3 Now Comes With Turbo Power
Mazda fanatics have loved the Mazda3 for years. Whether you are a fan of the MX-5 Miata or the CX-5 SUV, you’ve probably admired the Mazda3 for its styling and capabilities. The new 2021 Mazda lineup is getting ready for release, and this year Mazda gave us what we’ve been waiting for. There has been a lot of gossip over the years about the possibility of a turbocharged Mazda3, and it seems we are finally going to get it.
Making the Mazda3 that much better
Mazda3 owners and Mazda fans have been waiting for the release of a turbocharged model for several years. Whispers of its creation spread among the car community but there was no confirmation that one was in the works – until now. In 2021 Mazda plans to release a turbocharged Mazda3. Mazda hasn’t given us much else to go on so far, but there is a lot of speculation as to what we should expect.
Mazda has also yet to release official drivetrain options, but it is likely that for the most part, we will see the same options in the current model year available next year.
No information as to pricing has been released in regards to the Mazda3, but we have much confidence that the trend of affordability will still be there. Because this will be a more performance-oriented car, the price could possibly increase from the standard base model value, but hopefully not by an outrageous amount.
With more to offer still
The Mazda3 is one of the only cars left still being produced with a manual transmission option. It isn’t clear yet as to whether or not the turbocharged model will still include this option, but consumers remain hopeful.
Year after year Mazda has made improvements to the Mazda3’s interior luxuries and external designs. When the Kai concept was released we got a small glimpse into the future of the car, and even if there are no major aesthetic changes for the 2021 model year, many owners were still happy with the updates done so far to the 2020 models.
The Mazda3 intermingles simplicity with luxury, using a mixture of high-quality materials with modern designs to create a cabin that is both beautiful and practical. The 2021 model year may share the same interior as the current model year, but there isn’t much to complain about if that is the case.
We are also unsure as to whether or not the well-loved hatchback options will be giving the turbocharged engine or not, but many hot hatch enthusiasts remain hopeful.
While there is still so much we don’t know about the Mazda3, one thing is sure: it will be just as great as the previous years, but with the added benefit of the long-awaited turbocharged engine.
