Hyundai released an officer tear of the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe, and it’s a pretty intriguing preview about what’s coming. While it won’t be here until this fall, it may be worth waiting for instead of buying the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. Check out what we know so far.

The Fresh 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe

The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe got a fresh new look. While we can only see the new headlights and grille in the photo, it lets us know what to expect more updates about this redesigned SUV in the next couple of weeks.

First of all, the new look with LED headlights and wider grille give it a more intimidating look. The reshaped hood also seems sportier and more aerodynamic. This may provide us with clues to the most powerful Hyundai Santa Fe ever. To keep up with the electrified RAV4 Prime, we will see a hybrid version of the Hyundai Santa Fe released.

What To Expect With The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe

The new Toyota RAV4 Prime can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in only 5.7 seconds and has a 96 mpg range. To keep up, the Hyundai Santa Fe will need a bit of a power boost. This can be achieved with an upgrade from the 2.0-liter inline-four turbocharged engine with an output of 235 horsepower.

Of course, the Hyundai Santa Fe will be available in all-wheel-drive. However, it may receive an upgrade to be an electronically engaging option to save fuel when you don’t need it. Also, to stay competitive with rivals, the Hyundai Santa Fe will need a smart AWD that automatically senses changing conditions to adapt once roads become slippery quickly.

The Hyundai Santa Fe will be offered in brighter colors to stand out among the hoards of little SUVs on the road. Also, because the Hyundai Santa Fe will be on a new platform, the interior will have some significant changes. We can’t say if it will be bigger or smaller, but we can’t imagine that this successful tow row SUV will get smaller.

2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Tech

One of the interior upgrades will be tons of new tech features to enjoy. We expect infotainment centers that can connect to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Alexa, and more. Plus, can you compete as a modern plug-in hybrid without a heads up display? The new Hyundai Santa Fe should project crucial information behind the steering wheel so you can keep your eyes on the road.

The seats may get an upgrade to be more comfortable as well. Could the Santa Fe get heated and ventilated seats with a heated steering wheel? It already has a power liftgate and other convenient features, so those would make a great addition.

As the Kelly Blue Book winner for the SUV, that’s the lowest cost to own in its class, you can expect the 2021 model to be reliable. Also, as an IIHS 2020 top safety pick, it will be safe as well with features such as distracted driver alert, forward collision prevention, parking assistance, and more. We will have to wait a few weeks for updates, but we can’t wait to learn more!
