Christmas this year is going to look a lot different for many families. Whether you aren’t able to travel to visit your family or just can’t have your big Christmas dinner with all your friends, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have some holiday joy. In fact, if you remember the posts from last year, Tesla has some pretty cool Christmas features that might brighten your spirits and bring the joy of light shows to your very own driveway.

Tesla Easter eggs

The Christmas feature is far from the first cool Easter egg we have gotten from Tesla. Elon Musk has given owners more than a few fun hidden features. Whoopee cushion mode is the car feature of every little boy’s dreams, and a romance feature that can turn your car into a comfy winter cabin. As an avid Christmas fan, of course the holiday feature is my absolute favorite, and it’s enough to make me want a Tesla.

Christmas mode

The Tesla Christmas mode is more than just a music feature that plays inside the car, or even a cool video on the media display. Put the car in Christmas mode and your whole family can enjoy what happens next. If you don’t want to travel to a local light show, not to worry, because the outside of your Tesla Model X is a full display by itself.

But your car in Christmas mode and simply step out, close the doors, and enjoy the show. Music will begin playing, and the lights will begin to sync on and off in a beautiful light display. Wait a few seconds more and you can watch the car’s gull wing doors dance open and close along with the music. Adult and children alike can enjoy that novelty of Christmas mode.

If you don’t have a Tesla sitting in your garage, you can still enjoy all of the fun videos of them dancing and playing music along with their beautiful light show on plenty of YouTube channels, and it’s guaranteed to get you in the holiday mood.
