Luxury trucks are now the go-to way to show that you’ve made it. Many are now skipping the fancy nameplates of BMW or Lexus and opting for Limited, Platinum, and Denali badges on their trucks. These trucks can do work, but they’re just as likely to be parked in the valet lot next to (less expensive) BMWs and Porsches. These luxury pickup trucks are how many are getting to the worksite and impressing at Michelin-rated restaurants on the weekends.

Ram 1500 Limited

Ram 1500 Limited | Ram

About a decade ago Ram realized that its interiors needed some help to look and feel better because, after all, that’s where you spend your time. No truck exemplifies that more than the Limited. It gets premium leather, metal and wood trim, a 12-inch-tall touch screen standard, dual-pane sunroof, soft touch materials throughout the cabin, as well as a heated steering wheel and seats, and an embossed Limited logo on the console. The Ram’s fit and finish rivals the best, even the contrasting double-stitched leather on the dash looks and wood trim could rival a Mercedes.

But Ram also takes performance and competence seriously in this truck with standard air suspension, a Hemi V8. The Limited starts at $62,685 in two-wheel drive trim.

Nissan Titan Crew Cab Platinum Reserve

The Nissan Titan never competed with the big guys of the truck world and is going away in a couple of years. But for a certain buyer, it ticks all the boxes because it still looks trucky inside with some hard plastic on the console and big, chunky, switches and buttons that don’t hide the fact that this is a leather-covered work truck. The Platinum Reserve does come fully equipped with premium audio, a satin finish on the grille, heated and cooled seats, and dark chrome inside. It offers several options, like rear seat entertainment, 20-inch wheels, and much more to set it off.

The Nissan is the bargain of the group at $57,500 but the four-wheel drive is a $3,200 upgrade. It comes with 400-horsepower V8, and a 100,000-mile powertrain warranty.

The Silverado got a big upgrade in 2022 that highlighted the truck’s utility and off-road prowess more than its luxury status. But that doesn’t mean that Chevy gave up building cowboy Cadillacs. Just look at that horizontal 13.4-inch screen, the leather trim, and the digital instruments, the real wood, all while you sit back in hands-free comfort thanks to Super Cruise. The High Country trim has it all if you tick the options boxes. The High Country trim starts at $59,000 with the 5.3-liter V8, but a Duramax diesel engine is available as is the stonking 6.2-liter V8.

While the King Ranch is the leather-clad version and the Platinum has all the style you could ever ask for, the Limited offers the most in a Ford F-150 pickup. You’re greeted by power running boards in the Platinum and sit in Admiral Blue leather trim inside. If you didn’t know it had a bed, you could swear you were in a top-level Lincoln Navigator in the Limited. The street-biased tires and wheels give it more poise on the road, if the 10-way heated and cooled driver’s and passenger seats aren’t comfortable enough.

The Platinum starts at $77,625 for 2022, but you may have to wait until the 2023 versions hit the lot to find one as most of the 2022s are sold out.

GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate

The Denali is a great Cadillac-level luxury truck, but the Ultimate package adds even more to this luxury pickup truck. Like the Chevy, the GMC got a recent update. That update brought on some cool options to the Limited Denali, like a lighter composite bed, the MultiPro tailgate, up to 15 cameras, adaptive ride and a heads-up display. But you also get dark walnut or dark ash wood trim, perforated leather, wireless phone charging and connectivity, power running boards and Super Cruise.

The $80,395 Denali Ultimate comes standard with the 6.2-liter V8, or a Duramax diesel is available.

The Tundra comes with the i-FORCE MAX 3.5-liter twin-turbo hybrid engine that puts out V8-beating power at 437 horsepower while using less gas. The Tundra Capstone starts at $74,230.
