Both individual and dealer allocation and supply chain commodities significantly impact the ability to schedule customer retail Maverick orders.
All 2023 MY Maverick orders will be scheduled based on dealer allocations, which is the number of models dealers receive and part supply availability.
Which Maverick parts are unavailable?
Currently, there are a few different features causing 2023 Ford Maverick delays. The Co-Pilot360 package is facing challenges. It’s optional on the Maverick XL, XLT, and Lariat trims.
This package includes pre-collision assist, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert.
The XLT Luxury package, which is optional for the XLT trim, has supply constraints. It features an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, heated side mirrors, a full-size spare, and windshield wiper de-icers.
Next up is the Lariat Luxury package with adaptive cruise control, lane centering assist, evasive steering, and rear parking sensors.
Opting for the Ford Maverick tremor may cause delays. It has a one-inch suspension lift, advanced AWD with AWD Lock, Trail Control, 17-inch wheels, steel skid plates, and an off-road-tuned suspension.
Parts for the Tremor Off-Road Plus Appearance Package are in short supply too. It adds graphics on the hood and sides, a carbonized gray roof, and mirror caps with orange accents.
The Black Appearance package is in short supply. It has five-spoke, 18-inch machine-faced Ebony wheels with black door handles, mirrors, logos, a black grille, and tinted headlights.
Other shortages involve spray-in bed liner, cargo management system, the hard trifold tonneau cover, and splash guards.
Will the Maverick Hybrid take longer to build?
It may take longer to get the 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid than the gas-powered model due to supply chain constraints involving the hybrid battery. However, this notion hasn’t been confirmed by Ford.
