This Bentley Motorcycle Is Like Something Bruce Wayne Would Ride
A Bentley motorcycle doesn’t seem like a combination that would ever make it off a vision board. However, Bentley partnered with a motorcycle giant to produce an opulent bike deserving of the iconic “B.” If you ever wanted a two-wheeled interpretation of Bentley’s continent-crushing GT cars, this custom Ducati Diavel might be for you.
The Bentley motorcycle infuses the marque’s style with a high-powered Ducati Diavel V4
The Ducati Diavel is already a well-established presence in the power cruiser market. With a muscular 168-horsepower four-cylinder engine, the Diavel V4 revs happily and contends well with competition like the Harley-Davidson Low Rider S and Triumph Rocket 3. It’s a fitting mechanical base for an eye-popping Ducati and Bentley motorcycle collaboration.
Bentley’s design influence centers around the marque’s most powerful production car to date: the Bentley Batur. Most notably, the limited-release Diavel V4 rides on directional wheels modeled after the Batur’s five-spoke pattern. What’s more, riders will notice the embossed Alcantara seat with Bentley’s “B” at the saddle’s rear.
As one would demand in a contemporary Bentley GT car, the motorcycle features premium materials. In addition to the Alcantara saddle, the special-edition Diavel boasts carbon fiber aplenty. From the bike’s fenders and covers to its tail section, carbon fiber lightens and beautifies.
Ducati enveloped the bike in the British luxury car marque’s Scarab Green paintwork and Dark Titanium Satin trim. Further, the Diavel features homage intakes to capture the look of the Batur’s two-tone grille. However, even with the Bentley-specific touches, the Ducati motorcycle is unmistakably Diavel.
Bentley and Ducati limited the Batur-inspired Diavel to just 550 units
Bentley and Ducati will limit the collaboration bike to 550 units. What’s more, 50 of those motorcycles will be bespoke Diavel for Bentley Mulliner models, available only to existing Bentley owners.
As you might expect, the Bentley motorcycle doesn’t come cheap. The first 500 models will cost $70,000. However, the 50 Mulliner models will start at $90,000. It doesn’t just look like something Bruce Wayne would ride; it’s priced like something only he could afford as well.
