A lot of people would do a lot of questionable things to own a Bugatti Veyron. You’d likely find a handful of people that proudly would profess that they’d live in a Veyron if it meant they could own it. However, the cramped interior of a million-dollar hypercar isn’t exactly the most comfortable habitat. As you’ll see, a Bugatti Veyron is no place for a person to live.

TheStradman used to live in a car, so he took it back to his roots despite his success

James, who is more prominently known as TheStradman on Youtube, is nothing short of inspirational. Whether or not you’re a fan of the content he produces, one absolutely has to respect the amount of work and dedication he’s put into his career to get where he is now. Just a few short years ago, he was living in his Audi TT chasing supercars around Beverly Hills because he was dedicated to his passion for filming supercars. Fast forward to now, and he’s the owner of a fleet of supercars, including five Lamborghinis and, of course, a Bugatti Veyron.

Sometimes, though, you’ve got to take yourself back to your roots and really remind yourself where you came from. One could argue that the concept of living in a Bugatti Veyron is a great eye-catching Youtube idea. However, it’s more fun to think that James was nostalgic for the early days and wanted to enjoy the throwback. Unlikely, but for a definitive answer, you’ll have to ask him!

At any rate, living in a Bugatti Veyron goes about as well as one might imagine. Initially, it doesn’t seem all that bad. He spends the first few hours sitting in the car in his driveway and letting the clock burn. He even gets a special Subway sandwich delivery from his former boss and landlord, who goes by the name The Burlacher on Youtube.

After all the initial fun and games, James takes the Bugatti out for a cruise through scenic Utah mountain roads side by side with a McLaren 720S. However, as the day winds down, the fun and games start to slow their roll. Eventually, the video results in James sitting in the Bugatti and trying to find the most comfortable way to sleep.

You don’t want to wake up in a Bugatti, whether it’s new or used

“Rick Ross, Ace Hood…No, you don’t want to wake up in a new Bugatti or a used Bugatti. Any kind of Bugatti is an absolute no. You know what I want to wake up in? A bed,” says James as he struggles to sleep in the Veyron. Referencing, of course, Ace Hood’s hit song “Bugatti” from 2013.

Ultimately, this video could easily be dismissed as a publicity stunt for Youtube views. However, it’s a lot more symbolic than that and maybe even more than James intended for it to be. There was no real reason for him to attempt this challenge, and knowing his creative history, he probably had no shortage of potential other video ideas at the time. So, to put himself through spending 24 hours in a tiny confined space is really reflective of the work ethic that got him into that confined space in the first place.

We should all be so lucky!
