Three O Five Jeep Gladiator is Welcome to Miami
Part of the Jeep Gladiator’s and Wrangler’s appeal is the ability to drop the doors and roof to let the sun and wind in. There’s plenty of both at the Miami Auto Show. To commemorate the city, and its famous ‘305’ area code, Jeep is bringing something special to the show. It’s a special, Miami-themed, limited-edition version of the Gladiator and Wrangler: the ‘Three O Five’. Here are the details.
Miami Three O Five Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler: Reproducible Features
Many of the special editions’ features can actually be ordered by ordinary customers. These are accessories that come direct from the Mopar Jeep Performance Parts catalog.
The Three O Five editions get a Jeep Performance grille, a winch with guard and light mounting bracket attached to the steel front bumper, as well as multiple off-road LED lights. The Gladiator and Wrangler also get a 2” lift kit, 17” aluminum wheels, as well as rock rails and door sill guards. The Katzkin leather seats are also from the Jeep Performance Parts catalog, as are the black metal tube doors.
Both the Wrangler and Gladiator also feature an infotainment system with a 7” touchscreen as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, there are differences between the two vehicles.
Three O Five Jeep Gladiator vs. Wrangler, and What’s Not in the Catalog
Although the special editions are based on each model’s Sport S trim, the Gladiator is specced slightly differently compared to the Wrangler.
The Wrangler’s engine is the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, linked to an 8-speed automatic. The SUV also gets upgraded LED headlights, and a black fuel filler door. In addition, the Three O Five Wrangler will mark the first time the Sky One-touch power-operated roof will be available on the Sport S model.
The Gladiator, on the other hand, comes with the standard roof, as well as the pickup’s standard 3.6-liter V6. Based on images obtained by Motor1, it appears the Three O Five Gladiator will also have the 8-speed automatic. Unlike the Wrangler, the pickup will have body-colored fender flares and an all-terrain tire package.
Both special edition vehicles, however, will get a selection of graphics and stickers. Among these are ‘Three O Five’ stickers on the side of the hood. According to Motor1, the hood will also feature a graphic detailing how the Jeep grille evolved over time.
Three O Five Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler Availability and Pricing
The Three O Five editions will only be available in one of two colors: Punk’n Orange and Bright White. Official pricing has not been announced at this time.
However, prospective owners will have to act fast. Jeep is only making 255 Miami-edition Wranglers and 50 Gladiators. It is the 305, after all.
