1. 2023 Audi A3

One of the best luxury sedans on the market, according to MotorTrend, is the A3. It received a score of 8.2 out of 10, making it the second-best option in the subcompact luxury sedan segment. 

It starts at just over $35,000 and comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that gets 201 hp. This is a powerful engine for such a small car, and Audi also gave the A3 a great infotainment system. It comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster display. 

2. 2023 Audi A4

The A4 competes in the compact luxury sedan segment, and it received a score of 8.7 out of 10. It starts at around $40,000, and the German automaker gave it two powertrain options. It starts with a 201-hp four-cylinder and can be equipped with a 261-hp option. 

These engines provide a “quick acceleration” for the car, and Audi also gave the sedan a high-quality interior. As a result, it was the third-best option in its segment.

3. 2023 Audi A5

This Audi sedan starts at just under $45,000 and received a score of 9.2 out of 10. That made it the best option in the luxury compact fastback segment. It comes with the same powertrain options that the A4 has, but the fastback body style provides some additional benefits. Namely, it has a max cargo capacity of 35 cu-ft, which is a lot for a compact car.

The A6 starts at about $57,000, and it got a score of 8.6 out of 10. That made it the best luxury midsize sedan on the market. Its standard engine gets 261 hp, but the German automaker gave it many powertrain options. The most powerful one is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that gets 591 hp. Overall, the car critic praised its interior quality and the high-powered engines that Audi offers.

5. 2023 Audi A7

This $70,000 car competes in the luxury midsize fastback segment, and it got a score of 8.9 out of 10. That made it the best option in the segment. The A7 starts with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that gets 335 hp, and the automaker offers plenty of powertrain options, including a 591-hp V8. These engines are very powerful, and since the A7 is a fastback, it has 24.9 cu-ft of space, which is excellent for a car.

6. 2023 Audi E-Tron GT fastback

The E-Tron GT is a $105,000 electric sports car with a score of 8 out of 10. That made it the fourth-best car in the luxury midsize fastback segment. The standard powertrain configuration gets 469 hp, but Audi offers an optional powertrain that gets 590 hp. That said, it only gets 232 miles of range, and that’s “unimpressive” for an EV.

7. 2023 Audi E-Tron GT

MotorTrend also rated the E-Tron GT as an electric car, and it didn’t score well. It has a score of 7.6 out of 10, which made it the worst option in the luxury electric sedan segment.

The A8 is an $88,000 full-size luxury sedan, and it received a score of 8.6 out of 10. That made it the third-best option in its segment. It only can be equipped with a 335-hp V6. That’s one of its main flaws, as the car lacks many customization options.
