Sometimes the majority of people love a truck, but unfortunately, trucks are often also hated. One new truck is surprising owners with the amount of hate and middle fingers it receives. The most hated truck could be the Tesla Cybertruck.

Things have escalated quickly for the Tesla Cybertruck after it experienced about four years of delays. Now that it’s finally here, it could be the most hated truck in America.

Drivers are surprised by the sheer amount of negative attention they receive. But should they be shocked by the attention?

The Cybertruck is seen as a status symbol and it has a unique pointy design with a stainless steel body. It stands out against traditional trucks for being different. Plus, it starts with an MSRP of $81,895.

Anytime I’m in a more expensive car or a brand new model I get more attention. People flocked to the Ford F-150 Lightning to ask about the frunk, I get cut off in Genesis models, I get brake checked in BMW SUVs, and I was coal rolled in a Toyota Supra.

Travis Carter, a Tesla Cybertruck owner in Maine, regrets his decision because he’s become a negative spectacle around town despite just wanting to mind his own business.

His Cybertruck is often spit on, scratched, yelled at, and given the middle finger on a daily basis. People yell slander at the truck and brake-check him.

Travis isn’t safe from aggressive insults or the middle finger at red lights or stop signs. He even had to deal with a woman who stopped in the middle of a crosswalk in front of his cybertruck.

While some reactions started off with shock and awe, everything quickly turned to anger. Even when people keep their thoughts to themselves, they still roll their eyes.

Aside from coming out months late, there are plenty of reasons to be frustrated with the Cybertruck. It fell short on various promises.

For example, it was supposed to have up to 500 miles of range but can only go 340 miles on a single charge. It was supposed to tow up to 15,000 lbs but maxes out at 11,000.

Plus, it’s a death trap. People accidentally cut themselves on the frame, the accelerator pedal gets stuck, the wheel covers dug into the tires, and random parts fall off on the highway like it was put together with super glue.
