The Tuscadero Pink Jeep Wrangler Is Too Popular to Drop
This Jeep Wrangler color is hot, hot, hot! When the Tuscadero Pink Jeep Wrangler came out in 2021, it didn’t last long. The pretty in hot pink Wrangler models sold out and, due to popular demand, returned for 2022. But sadly, it’s not here for 2023 or 2024.
The Tuscadero Pink Jeep Wrangler is sticking around
The 2022 Jeep Wrangler was available in Tuscadero Pink due to popular demand. The younger generation may think that Tuscadero is just a cool word. But the generation that is aging like fine wine knows that Tuscadero is a Happy Days reference. Tuscadero is the female mechanic that the Fonz has feelings for.
Jeep typically phases unique and special edition colors in and out as they keep a core group of hues available each year. But the Tuscadero Pink hue attracted about 30,000 orders. It was supposed to go away in December, but it stucking around for 2022.
You can order a Tuscadero Pink Jeep with two or four doors. It’s available with the Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe, and 392 models. That’s a wide variety of choices, and it’s the first unique color to be available with the Rubicon 392.
Tuscadero is only available for the Wrangler so far, but we think the Jeep Gladiator could rock it. It costs $395 to add, which is more expensive than the $245 upgrade for others.
What’s new for the 2022 Jeep Wrangler?
Aside from Tuscadero Pink, the 2022 Jeep Wrangler is available in other loud colors, like Snazzberry, Nacho, Hellayella, Hydro Blue, Gecko, and Sarge Green.
The Wrangler lineup gained the Willeys model with the Xtreme Recon package. It’s an adventure-ready time that rides on 35-inch BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires wrapped in 17-inch wheels.
It also includes a 1.5-inch suspension lift, upgraded brakes, and sleek blacked-out exterior trim pieces and badges.
The Sport and Sport S models have a standard 7-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 4 software. The Sahara and Rubicon trim now comes with an 8.4-inch unit and standard keyless entry.
The Wrangler 4xe gains standard blue tow hooks, and a blue pad print has been added to the wheels, The High Altitude 4xe has a new wheel design, and the outside mirrors include integrated turn signals.
Plus, a 4.88-axle ratio on the 3.6-liter V6-equipped Wrangler Rubicon models is available with either transmission. Other than that, the 2022 Wrangle is primarily a carryover model.
How does the 2022 Wrangler cost?
You can get started in the 2022 Jeep Wrangler for about $29,725. This price is the MSRP, so the destination fee and dealership markups aren’t included.
The standard 3.6-liter V6 engine pumps out 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. You can upgrade to the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine for 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Don’t forget about the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 with 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque.
There’s also the Jeep Wrangler 4xe that uses a 2.0-liter turbo, electric motor, and battery to achieve 49 MPGe. It provides 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Wrangler Rubicon 392 has a beefy 6.4-liter V8 that cranks things up to 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Each of these models can be purchased in Tuscadero Pink.
