2010 Mazda Miata 

The Mazda Miata is a fan-favorite on a variety of lists. This sporty convertible is lively, smooth, and reliable. Drivers especially love the 2010 roadster because of its dynamics and durability. Its 2-liter four-cylinder engine has a 157-horsepower when linked with a manual transmission and there’s an available six-speed automatic option that creates a 158-horsepower.

Even though the horsepower is on the lower end, its agile handling makes the Miata feel more forceful. No matter which transmission option you choose on the Miata, it gets a combined 24 mpg which is on the higher end of its class.

Another great aspect of the Miata is its top safety scores. The main downside to be aware of on this model is the road noise. It rattles on long car rides, especially with the hardtop selection. 

2010 Ford Mustang

The 2010 Ford Mustang is considered a great used car because of its high scores in key areas including safety, affordability, and performance. It also earned a five-star reliability rating from J.D. Power as well as high satisfaction scores from owners themselves. The acceleration is powerful and smooth, making it more fun to drive.

The 2010 Mustang comes with a 4-liter six-cylinder that makes a 210 horsepower.  You also have the option for a 4.6-liter V8 engine that generates a 315-horsepower. The 2010 GT500 Mustang features an even grander V8 engine that produces a 540-horsepower. 

2010 Chevrolet Camaro

Like the 2010 Mustang, the 2010 Chevy Camaro offers classic styling and intense power.  However, this model has an above-average fuel economy for its class with a combined 21 mpg. The Camaro features a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that generates a 304-horsepower; the available 6.2-liter V8 engine makes a 426-horsepower.

This model offers an amazing driving experience but interior comfort is definitely up for debate. The rear seat is on the narrow side and the headroom is low. 

2010 Nissan 370Z

The 2010 Nissan 370Z is responsive and athletic. It is also known for its relatively spacious cabin, for a two-seater anyway. The 2010 370Z performs well with a  3.7-liter six-cylinder engine that generates a 332-horsepower with a six-speed manual transmission. There’s also automatic transmission paired with paddle shifters option.

As far as fuel economy goes, the 370Z is about average. While this model performs well overall, you should know that its engine tends to vibrate the cabin at a greater RPM.

2016 Scion FR-S

The 2016 Scion FR-S leads its class because of its excellent handling capability, classy interior, and reliability scores. It comes with a 2-liter four-cylinder engine that generates a 200-horsepower and has an excellent fuel economy rating.

This car makes routine trips more fun and exciting and is also known for its classy interior. Drawbacks to be aware of though are the same for most other sports cars. The cabin is noisy at higher speeds and the rear seats are on the cramped side.
