Automakers have been forced to get extra creative by utilizing digital experiences to keep customers engaged since dealerships are closed and car shows have been canceled related to the novel coronavirus. The German-based Volkswagen Group is among those looking to give customers new ways to interact with them in these current times.

For the first time, the Volkswagen Group car show is now available online following the cancellation of the 2020 Geneva International Motor Show due to coronavirus. The VW Virtual Motor Show allows visitors to view the new VW models from the comfort of home and is a fun way to explore their new product lineup.

This immersive digital experience is accessible in both English and German and allows you to virtually wander through different booths to view the latest vehicles and even toy around with various trims and colors for each model. There is even background music playing and video displays throughout the show.

All vehicles arranged for an unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show have been uploaded to this virtual experience. The VW Virtual Motor Show highlights the car company’s new product offerings for 2020. The new products include the new ID.3 electric vehicles and updated plug-in hybrid technology features. The virtual show also showcases VW’s recognizable sport vehicles like the Golf, the GTI, GTD, and the GTE.

VW hopes that their first digital car show experience will help reach more people in a more sustainable way. This online experience is completely free and available here until April 17.

Other VW Group brands have also shifted gears to provide medical supplies for healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff members.
