There’s a new promise to take lightly from Elon Musk. Why take it lightly? Because it involves saving $20,000 with the Tesla Cybertruck, and he could be fooling the public again. So far he’s failed to deliver a majority of Tesla Cybertruck promises.

The Tesla Cybertruck price could drop by $20,000

Please take everything that Elon Musk says with a grain of salt. I’m not hating on the man (yes, the man, not an alien from Mars), but he has fallen short on delivering a few different Tesla Cybertruck promises.

He’s not done jumping the gun with wild claims. For example, Musk said that he would cut the Cybertruck’s price by $20,000.

So, that’s good if you’re still in line for your truck after getting skipped over by Foundation buyers. But that stinks if you had to hand Tesla an extra $20,000 that new customers won’t have to.

Allegedly, the price cuts will take place during the third quarter of the year, which is from July until the end of September. So, hold off on making your purchase in June.

The starting price of the Cybertruck All-Wheel-Drove model will drop from $100,000 to $79,000 and the price of the Cybertruck Cyberbeast will go from $120,000 to $99,000. The Foundation Series model will no longer be offered, so richer folks will lose the ability to skip the line.

But the RWD entry-level Cybertruck starts at $60,990 and it’s unclear if it will also receive the price cut. Initially, the Cybertruck was supposed to start at $39,000. That didn’t happen along with other promises.

For example, the Cybertruck was supposed to have up to 500 miles of range but maxes out at about 340 miles of range during optimal conditions.

Also, the Cybertruck was supposed to have a towing capacity of up to 14,000 lbs but can lonely tow up to 11,000 miles.

The Cybertruck was supposed to have armored glass, but remember when Elon  Musk shattered a window on stage? That’s because it only has shatter-resistant glass.

I could provide examples all day long, but wonder if the Tesla Cybertruck will actually receive this discount. Is the discount because the Cybertrucks aren’t selling well or is it because availability is about to ramp up?
