Watch Helicopter Drop Car 500 Feet Into Orbeez Pool: Does It Survive? — MrBeast Viral Video!
One of the great things about cars is they provide a seemingly endless avenue for entertainment. And sometimes, this automotive entertainment takes a whimsical direction. MrBeast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, the famed YouTuber and philanthropist, often explores the hilarious aspects of cars with elaborate stunts on YouTube videos and other social media channels, such as Facebook Watch. The latest is a video in which Donaldson and the “Beast Team” dropped an old Dodge Charger over 500 feet from a helicopter — into a pool of one billion Orbeez. Watch the viral video to see if the car survives the precipitous fall.
MrBeast Facebook Watch video: Dodge Charger dropped by helicopter into 1 billion Orbeez
MrBeast is one of the most popular video content creators on the planet. With over 127 million subscribers, his YouTube channel is the fourth most-subscribed on the platform. He also has the greatest number of subscribers for an individual.
MrBeast said that he’s not a “car guy.” However, he has created many unique and funny car-related videos. For the most recent one, a helicopter “takes” his friend Tareq’s old Dodge Charger, raises it up 569 feet high in the air — and then drops it into a giant pool of one billion Orbeez.
Orbeez are tiny beads that expand when filled with water and shrink when exposed to air. They were originally invented to retain moisture in the soil for plants, but now are a popular children’s toy with a variety of uses.
MrBeast’s YouTube channel has the highest number of views of all his platforms. However, he posted this video, titled “Can 1 Billion Orbeez Save Tareq’s Car,” on Facebook Watch. Posted on December 16, 2022, it has quickly gone viral, with over 43 million views.
Can 1 billion Orbeez save Tareq’s Dodge Charger?
The video starts with MrBeast directing Tareq’s attention to the helicopter in the distance. He said, “What do you think that is over there?” Tareq responds, “Yo, that’s my car! Wait, that’s my car!”
Donaldson then shows Tareq footage on a tablet device of a helicopter picking up his Dodge Charger in a parking lot. Tareq said, “I literally parked my car [there] earlier today.” He watched in shock as the helicopter raised the Charger higher and higher — up to 569 feet above the massive Orbeez pool.
The Beast Team counted down: “3, 2, 1!” Tareq pleaded, “ No, no, no!” Then, MrBeast shouts through a walkie-talkie to the helicopter pilot, “Drop the car!” The helicopter released the cable holding the Charger, and gravity went to work. The car rapidly fell, surreally dropping into the Orbeez pool, creating a giant splash of water.

After Tareq’s Dodge Charger crashed down, MrBeast yelled, “Open the floodgates!” Tareq had a worried look on his face. The floodgates of the pool opened, and then multicolor rivers of Orbeez came flowing out into the parking lot.
Chris, another member of the Beast Team, jaunted out into the sea of Orbeez. Donaldson shouted, “Chris, no, come back! There’s a car in there!” Soon after, the Charger rode a wave of Orbeez into the parking lot. Tareq yelled, “There’s my car! It’s destroyed!” As the dislodged bumper of the car nearly glides into Chris, he shouted, “Hey, tell your bumper to watch out! It almost bumped into me!”
The car was destroyed by the fall — but it really wasn’t Tareq’s car: MrBeast switched it
Getting a closer look at his obliterated Charger, Tareq cried, “No, no, no, no, my baby!” However, to Tareq’s relief, MrBeast revealed that it’s not actually his car. The helicopter picked up his vehicle and dropped it into the middle of a random field. Then, the helicopter picked up a nearly identical replica decoy car — and dropped that one into the Orbeez pool.
Tareq, in a state of confusion, said, “What is happening.” Donaldson explained the trickery with the vehicle “switcheroo.” Tareq then said to MrBeast, “I don’t like you right now.”
