Watch Out, Goldberg: Hulk Hogan Has Mopar on the Mind
Hulk Hogan has a reputation for big performances in the ring as a celebrated WWE Superstar. However, Hogan is more than a former pro wrestler; he’s a larger-than-life Mopar fan. In fact, Hulk Hogan prefers to stock his car collection with classic Dodges and Plymouths more than just about anything else.
Hulk Hogan’s car collection has a Bill Goldberg flair
Terry Gene Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, likes to spend his money on cars of the Mopar persuasion. Hogan has several Dodge and Plymouth muscle cars, including a few gold standards.
- 1968 Dodge Charger R/T
- 1969 Plymouth Road Runner
- 1971 Plymouth Barracuda
- 1971 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda
- 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10
Hogan owns a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, a favorite among Mopar enthusiasts. However, the Hulkster couldn’t leave the sinister muscle car alone; he swapped the 375-horsepower 440 cubic-inch engine for a volcanic 528 cubic-inch V8. As a result, the handsome old Mopar produces 900 asphalt-cracking horsepower.
Beyond his classic Charger, Hogan reportedly has not one but two 1969 Plymouth Road Runners. One is good. Two must be better, right? In addition to his Road Runner(s), Hogan has a 1971 Barracuda. Cue the track by “Heart.” Of course, no Bill Goldberg-rivaling Mopar collection is complete without a Plum Crazy Purple 1971 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda.
However, Hogan’s Viper isn’t in his garage anymore. Hogan auctioned off his 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 at the Kissimmee, Florida Mecum Auction in 2020. Still, this wasn’t a typical Viper; it was bumper-to-bumper Hulkamania. Specifically, the striking red and yellow Viper features a two-tone color palette inside and out, with “Hulkster” on the hood and headrests.
Hogan has an eye for the modern, too
Hulk Hogan loves a modern Mopar, too. His 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye is a fitting four-door runabout for a former professional wrestler with a penchant for high-horsepower Dodges.
While it can’t quite outmuscle his engine-swapped 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, Hogan’s 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has to be one of (if not the) quickest cars in his garage. With 840 horsepower on high-octane fuel and a record as the first production to perform a wheelie, the Demon is a perfect match for the WWE Superstar showman.
