Just look at this thing. Or should we say this ProCharger Porsche 911 GT3 RS? In purple. Without the rear bumper cover. This thing looks so nasty. According to the builder, this is the first 4.0-liter Porsche GT3 RS with the ProCharger.

Many say the GT3 RS four-liter is the last of the really great naturally-aspirated engines to ever come from a factory. Adding a supercharger is just insane. But showing it off with the rear bumper cover removed looks raw and nasty. We’ve dubbed it “Hack Back” for that reason.

The folks at TKB Motorsports in Florida created the forced induction beasty. They took the 4.0-liter and added the P1X ProCharger supercharger, Fabspeed Motorsports long tube headers with an iPE titanium exhaust, Turbosmart blow-off valve, and K&N air filter. Adding all of this provides an extra 200 hp and 105 lb-ft of torque. 

So, how much total horsepower is this supercharged Porsche 911 rocking?

So total output is about 720 hp and 452 lb-ft of torque. And, the ability to spin this up to 9,000 RPM. In all, it’s crazy, but not crazy enough for the builder. 

He says he is considering adding methanol injection. This will give him the ability to increase his boost. And he wants to change things up to allow it to run on E85 fuel for a bit of extra pop. So there are more changes in store for this Porsche.

While we normally don’t go for the Ricky Racer-look of no bumper in this case it does give the 911 a raw, all-business look. The gleaming ProCharger and titanium exhaust just add to the “Hack Back” look. We guess that if you’ve got it you should flaunt it. 

In this case, flaunting the engine and exhaust drew us to the Porsche in the first place wanting to explore what this was all about. The bodywork and overall proportions of the new 911s are too bulky and fat. With the rear bumper removed it visually lightens up the rear. It removes the “baby diaper needing a change” look of the stock 911.
