As a car enthusiast, nothing quite warms my heart like seeing a sports car truly being used for its design intent. All too often, you see exotic car owners leave their cars parked and undriven. Some even rub it with a diaper, to quote the great Cameron Frye. This Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, though, is no garage queen. It’s a frighteningly fast, corner-eating, and even air-catching Nürburgring hero.

If you’re a car enthusiast and fan of motorsport, you’re probably well familiar with Misha Charoudin. If you somehow aren’t, allow me to fill you in. Charoudin is a phenomenally talented racing driver who practically lives at the Nürburgring and spends time behind virtually every one of your dream cars on motorsport’s main stage. He also shares the majority of these experiences on his awesome YouTube Channel.

In a recent video (seen below), Charoudin got behind the wheel of a 992 Porsche 911 GT3. Though it once was a standard-issue 992 GT3, the owner of the car installed all of the performance components you’ll find on the GT3 Cup. For those who aren’t up to speed, the GT3 Cup is Porsche’s factory race car. So, this particular car is the closest to a street-legal Porsche 911 GT3 Cup you’ll likely ever see!

One thing you can guarantee with Charoudin is that he will never take it easy on a car at the Nürburgring. Immediately, he starts putting this monster of a car through its paces. He’s quick to give it high praise as the most capable car he’s ever driven at The Ring. Around 20 minutes in, though, is where things get real spicy.

Charoudin is a pro, and his recovery from this launch proves it

Charoudin comes over a crest, and the entire car becomes airborne. The owner of the car, who is in the passenger seat for the ride, seemingly loves it. After landing, the car gets a bit unstable and seemingly starts to slide a bit. Fortunately, Charoudin is a pro. His car control and quick reaction kept that car from ending up in the wall, and the look on his face shortly thereafter was enough to tell the whole story. That was a close one!

“Always land straight, kids,” says Charoudin.

I’ll keep that in mind next time I take a Porsche 911 GT3 out for a jump.

Ultimately, if you love motorsports and want an absolutely mind-blowing POV look at what a truly lightning-fast lap of the Nürburgring looks like, this video is worth a watch in its entirety. If that video isn’t enough for you, check out the whole channel. There’s a fantastic amount of jaw-dropping cars and an adorable dog named Pancake.
