The Q3 model continues to be the cheapest Audi SUV — and one of the cheapest luxury SUVs in general. In fact, it may even be more affordable than many non-luxury SUVs, as well.

We can’t stop at one reason the Audi Q3 is a luxury bargain, so here’s five instead.

1. The engines are better than you’d expect in the cheapest Audi SUV

The 2024 Audi Q3 model comes with two engines.

The standard 40 TSFI, a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, produces 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Paired with it is an eight-speed automatic. This combination allows the model to get 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

An available 45 TSFI unit generates 228 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque and is also paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission.  As for fuel economy, you can expect to get 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg when traveling on the highway.

With the standard engine, you can go from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 8.6 seconds.

2. Standard technology still applies

You can expect a 10.1-inch display for the infotainment system as standard equipment. A 10.25-inch screen for the driver information display is also standard with this model. The vehicle also comes with a Sonos sound system with 15 speakers, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for all your automotive adventures.

3. Standard safety and driver assistance features are included

The 2024 Audi Q3 model comes with many safety and driver assistance features, including lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic alert, pre- and post-collision systems, emergency braking assist, and blind-spot warning with accident avoidance system.

Other standard features include stability control, four-wheel ABS, front and rear ventilated disc brakes, self-leveling headlights, turn signal side mirrors, keyless ignition, front and rear parking sensors, interior air filtration system, and adaptive cruise control with lane guidance, according to Edmunds

4. Passengers can enjoy comfort in a roomy cabin

In the front seat, you get 39.6 inches of headroom and 40 inches of legroom. In the second row’s rear seats, you get 37.6 inches of headroom and 36.1 inches of legroom, which isn’t too bad when you compare it to some of its rivals.

Even the cargo area offers a decent amount of space. You can expect 23.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and 48 cubic feet of storage when you fold down those back seats, according to Audi

5. Safety scores are good

While it didn’t receive a Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ awards, it did get several “Good” ratings from the IIHS. When the NHTSA tested it, the site gave it an overall rating of five stars.

The frontal and rollover tests received four stars, and the side crash evaluations managed a perfect five stars.

What else does the 2024 Audi Q3 offer?

With a starting MSRP just t north of $38,000, hardly a premium price for a car of this quality, the Audi Q3 offers 18-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, a four-wheel independent suspension system, front and rear stabilizer bars, an all-wheel drive system, and a 15.9-gallon fuel tank.

For the interior, you can expect front bucket seats, an eight-way power driver’s seat, leather upholstery, multi-level heated front seats, dual front side-mounted airbags, front and rear head airbags, tire pressure monitoring, engine immobilizer, three-zone climate control, and external temperature display.

The 2024 Audi Q3 is an affordable vehicle that offers a lot for the money. You get plenty of standard features, useful tech features, powerful engines, good safety scores, and a roomy cabin.
