2020 Nissan Versa

Like many cars on this list, the 2020 Nissan Versa isn’t going to turn heads when you’re driving down the street. Nissan didn’t go above and beyond on the Versa, but for $14,830, you get quite a bit for the money.

The 2020 Nissan Versa comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, automatic emergency braking, rear automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, pedestrian detection, and lane departure warning. 

2020 Toyota Yaris

The 2020 Toyota Yaris may not be at the top of your list, but it’s worth considering. For only $15,650, you get a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.

The engine isn’t that powerful, but it can be enjoyable to drive, especially when you’re cruising around curves. The biggest factor most people don’t like is that the touchscreen doesn’t operate well when the car is in motion, so keep that in mind if you’re considering the 2020 Toyota Yaris.

2020 Kia Forte

No list of cheap, dependable cars would be complete without at least one Kia. The Forte is popular with both critics and owners because it is affordable, reliable, and has some of the best fuel economy of any vehicle on the road. It gets 29 city / 40 hwy.

2020 Subaru Legacy

Subarus are great vehicles if you live in an area that has severe weather conditions. They’re also great if you’re into off-roading because all Subarus come with AWD. Just keep in mind that the Legacy can be pricey to fix. 

The 2020 Subaru Legacy starts at $22,745. The engine has plenty of power thanks to a 4-cylinder engine that gets 182 hp, and a continuously variable automatic transmission. It also comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane keeping assist. 

2020 Honda Accord

The 2020 Honda Accord has a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that gets 192 hp. This is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Add in a spacious interior and trunk, and the Accord is one of the most superior cars on this list.

The 2020 Honda Accord starts at $24,020. A 7-inch display comes standard, but you’ll have to upgrade to a higher trim level for more.

2020 Toyota Camry

 The 2020 Toyota Camry might be the most expensive car on this list with a price tag of $24,425, but it’s also one the most reliable vehicles on the road. 

The Camry also has one of the most powerful engines on the list. It has a 203 hp 4-cylinder engine that is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. There is currently one recall on the 2020 Toyota Camry, courtesy of the coolant system leaking, so make sure to check and see if your Camry is one of the affected cars before buying.
