Buick is famous for building some of the most luxurious cars on the road. The Enclave, which is Buick’s luxury mid-size crossover SUV, isn’t an exception to that. Here’s a look at all the features that come standard on the 2020 Buick Enclave. 

The 2020 Buick Enclave’s powertrain 

The 2020 Enclave comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, according to U.S. News. This V6 comes mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission, and U.S. News says that the V6 can generate 310-hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. U.S. News reports that the Enclave’s V6 is smooth, quiet, and powerful, and it delivers more than enough speed and acceleration for daily commuting. 

With that said, U.S. News does mention that the Enclave isn’t the most powerful SUV on the road. However, its power is still adequate for most people. On top of that, the Enclave’s V6 gets about 18 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway for a combined 22 MPG. But, that’s for the standard two-wheel-drive model of the SUV. All-wheel drive isn’t standard on the Enclave.

The 2020 Buick Enclave’s luxury interior features

As U.S. News reports, the Enclave is a luxury SUV with third-row seating, and as a result, it can seat up to seven people comfortably. The Enclave’s standard seats have a cloth upholstery and its front seats are both power-adjustable and heated as well. Car reviewers such as Edmunds mentioned on U.S. News that the Enclave’s seats are spacious and comfortable for most passengers. 

However, the most luxurious aspect that Buick offers to Enclave owners as standard is its infotainment and creature comfort features. U.S. News says that the Enclave comes standard with an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system that’s fully compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Buick also has a 4.2-inch driver information display as standard. Additionally, Buick offers a standard hands-free voice control system in Siri Eyes Free. 

On top of all that, the Enclave comes standard with a 4G WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth compatibility, six USB ports, and tri-zone automatic climate control. The Enclave also has a six-speaker stereo system that comes with satellite radio as standard. Furthermore, Buick has smart convenience technologies like a push-button start, proximity keyless entry system, remote start, and an interior noise cancellation system, all as standard on the Enclave.

Car reviewers such as Car and Driver and Automobile Magazine praised Buick for offering so many features as standard on the Enclave. Additionally, those car reviewers, according to U.S. News, all said that the Enclave’s interior infotainment and creature comfort technologies were easy to use and very user-friendly.

In terms of its cargo capacity, U.S. News also praised the Enclave. The Enclave has 23.6 cu. ft. of cargo space with no seats folded, 58 cu. ft. of cargo space with the third-row seats folded down, and 97.6 cu. ft. of cargo space with the second and third-row seats folded down. These are impressive numbers for its segment, according to U.S. News. 

The 2020 Buick Enclave’s safety and security features

While there are a lot of infotainment and comfort features on the Enclave, Buick doesn’t offer many smart standard safety features on this luxury SUV. U.S. News says that rear parking sensors are one of the few smart standard safety features that Buick does offer on the Enclave. Buick also says that the Enclave will come with a passenger sensing system as well as automatic headlights. 

With that said, the Enclave does have more security features as standard. For example, Buick says that the Enclave comes standard with security features such as a remote panic alarm, a theft-deterrent system, an engine immobilizer, and a content theft alarm.
