Top of the Line Durango SRT

Dodge Durango SRT can hold its own next to pricier imports like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and the BMW X5M. However, the SRT brings to the table the street cred and history of the all-American muscle car. To prove it, Dodge shoehorned the exhaust system so that the SRT screams with commanding authority.

The 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with its 475 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque allows the SRT to reach 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. All this power could make the SRT unstable. However, the four-wheel, power sending eight-speed transmission keeps the Durango stable and grounded.

Getting all this power doesn’t come cheap. The base price of the SRT® is $64,490, and choosing extra options can push the price close to $80,000. The Technology Group Package includes “adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and forward collision avoidance systems,” which costs $2,395. The Premium Interior Group will add another $2,495.
